WE LOVE OUR MOTHER EARTH AND HOLD ALL LIFE TO BE SACRED. WE SEEK TO LIVE IN A WAY THAT RESPECTS AND HONOURS THE WISH ALL BEINGS SHARE: TO BE FREE FROM SUFFERING AND TO BE HAPPY, SOTO DO UNTO OTHERS AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE UNTO OURSELVES. HERE WE WORK, EXPLORE AND CELEBRATE LIVING BY THIS PRINCIPLE OF AHIMSA, OF LIFE.
We seek to create a shining example of how beautiful and healthy the lifestyle of compassion can be, seeking ways we can provide for our needs and be of greatest benefit to all life, or at least not cause any harm. The Green Campus and Green Camps are vehicles that we deploy to be of greatest benefit to life. The Campus is a place to explore, taste, test, teach and learn new ways of providing for our needs that regenerate consciousness, community, the environment and co-operative economies.
We do this so we can pass on these healthy ecosystems, social and business models to our children, to seven generations, to all of Mother Earth's children, so that we and the future generations can thrive in peace as we meet needs for food (medicine), shelter and good company. We are exploring, working, living and celebrating those ways that establish a universal symbiosis.
'Biological co-operation is the foundation of all higher levels of life coming into form'
BASIC GREEN CAMP INFRASTRUCTURE
At Green Camp we establish a basic self sustaining camp infrastructure in beautiful places where people can come to stay to explore the vegan lifestyle, ways of living in harmony with nature and the programs at each Green Camp that are working to regenerate consciousness, community, environments and co-operative economies.
We train up a Green Camp Co-op for each Green Camp with sociocratic (democracy 2.0), peacemaking, Ahimsa and Co-operative skills and then deliver programs with each camp to establish further regenerative assets for the Camp Co-op, it's members (who are owners in the co-op model) and each camp's investors in a true cost account.
The Basic Green Camp Infrastructure is set up to run as a temporary B&B where people can come to explore the healthy living, vegan lifestyle and gain access to beautiful spots in a very unique and affordable way that feels at the cutting edge of new age science and consciousness. The Pop-up Green Camp B&B covers the costs of the camp and gives the Green Camp co-op some funds to decide what to do with together as we describe below.
Presently we are working on three main approaches to establishing camps where they can do the most good for all life with the following approaches:
- A temporary contracts to deploy Green Camps with landowners
- Buying land with a Green Camp Co-op.
- Humanitarian deployment of Green Camps to protector camps or refugee camps where we can do the most benefit for life.
The Basic Green Camp Infrastructure provides a community space at the heart of the camp, a sort of Temple, made of our very strong, simple, cheap and totally green bio-plastic modular construction system, The Green Camp System (CC) that provides a safe place to learn and explore about universal symbiosis. The Community Center has a space for the regenerative programs of the Camp Co-op's members to be delivered and developed, a community kitchen and relaxing space.
The surrounding domicilliaries where people can come and stay can be of different kinds as presented in our 'Camp Planner' depending on the needs, resources and climate of the camp site; ranging from Zomes and Lotus bell tents, to Natural Builds round houses.
We have developed a pipline for producing simple multifunctional furniture and basic amenities from recycled and ecologically friendly materials so that we can furnish the interiors of the camp with a form that follows it's harmonic function.
We also provide, off grid power solutions, heating systems, eco-showers and compost loos, everything that is needed to start delivering our programs to establish the further assets for the camps and provide for the needs of the Camp Co-op Members and guests.
Once the Basic Green Camp Infrastructure is set up and we have trained up it's governing co-operative, we start to deliver our regenerative programs that seek to regenerate consciousness, community, environment and co-operative local economies. Our programs work to establish regenerative assets that provide for the needs of the co-op members in a way that is beneficial to all other beings. Some of our Programs include:
Basics programs include:
- Yoga, meditation, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, vegan permaculture, super hero factory, fitness bootcamp, raw vegan food prep, green movie club, supper club, veterans for peace, children's nurseries with retired people's get togethers and any regenerative programs Green Camp Co-op members can dream of or guests ask for.
BASIC REGENERATIVE ASSETS INCLUDE:
- Popup Green B&B
- Tree nursery establishment
- Edible forest garden design and establishment
- Natural building course to establish natural builds
- Plastic recycling workshop
- Recycled wood furniture workshop
- Automated airponic veg production (3600 organic heads of lettuce per month).
Advanced programs programs include:
- Vegan Permaculture Design Course (10 days residential)
- Ecovillage Design Course (4 week residential)
- Hippocrates Health Institute Regeneration programs (in development)
Our long term plan is to use the Vegan Permaculture Design Course and The Ecovillage Design Course to develop planning applications for the Advanced Green Campus Infrastructure.
Advanced camp infrastructure includes
- More permanent community centre (see Dome Tree & Dragon Shell)
- Modular low cost (but beautiful) Dragon Scale domes by Inspiral Architects.
